Note: In this Universe both Roll and Rock have been aged up,they are now designed to look like they are in their late-teens early 20's.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roll arrives outside Dr. Wily's lab, helmeted and booted, and ready to take down the crazy roboticist. She's also equipped with all 8 Master Weapons,as well as her own Roll Buster. Roll tells herself that there's no turning back from this point on and rushes forward.
Dr. Wily's Lab was a lone structure comprised of 2 parts, with a bridge bridging them.
She destroys a bunch of Big Eyes, guarding the outside using the Thunder Beam. When she gets to the Main entrance She uses the Super Arm to destroy the door. Upon entering she comes to a flight of stairs with Fire Machines in them. Roll runs up the steps avoiding the flames.
Roll fights through a few corridors until she comes to a spike pit, with some Foot Holders hovering above it. Roll takes a deep breath and hops on the first foot holder and quickly hops on each of them until she gets to the other side.
She sees a latter and climbs it,which leads to another corridor, which leads Roll into a dead end room. As Roll tries to find a way out,Dr. Wily chimes in via loudspeaker. He welcomes Roll to his lab and that he's has a special surprise for her.
Suddenly, the roof opens up very wide and strange Big Yellow Blobs start to rain down. Roll is confused. After all the blobs have rained down,a mechanical eye comes down and charges up with electricity. The blobs suddenly gravitate towards the eye bonds with it.
The Blobs suddenly form a cycloptic monster. Roll wonders what is it? Wily introduces Roll to the Yellow Devil, his greatest Creation Yet. He tells her to have fun and laughs evilly. The Yellow Devil jumps behind Roll and begins shooting beams from it's eye. Roll fires her Roll Buster, but the blasts are absorbed.
Roll wonders what is this thing and tries for the eye,but the Yellow Devil closes it's eye, separates itself into individual blobs, and launches at Roll. Roll quickly dodges and when the Blobs reach the other side of the room, they come together to reform the Yellow Devil.
Roll shoots the eye and it damages the monster. She then switches to Thunder Beam and is about to fire it,but the Blobs separate again and lunge themselves at Roll. She dodges and prepares to fire. The blobs reform the Yellow Devil. The moment the monster opens it's eye,Roll rushes toward it,jumps at the eye,and fires a Thunder Beam at it point blank.
The Eye malfunctions and explodes,Roll dodges the explosion. When the dust settles, the Blobs are disolving and the eye is scrap metal. Roll tells herself that that was close and looks around for an exit. She find one on the far side of the room.
She goes through the door and ends up on the side of the 1st half of the building, with the 2nd half on the other side of the bridge. Roll rushes across the bridge destroying enemies along the way. When she makes it to the other side,Sniper Joes rush out of the door that leads inside.
Roll throws a bunch of Hyper Bombs at them, which destroys them in one hit. Roll enters the structure and heads down the stairs. She fights Suzy's and Screw Drivers and Beaks as she rushes down the stairs.
Roll comes down to a room that resembles a disco. Roll finds a door and deduces that it leads to the next ring of the lab. Suddenly,a door opens up and an endo-skeleton,not unlike the ones from Terminator, enters. The robotic skeleton is armored and equipped with an Arm Cannon.
Dr.Wily chimes in again via loud speaker and tells Roll that she got Lucky against the Yellow Devil, but she Will meet her end at the metallic bony hands of his coolest creation,Doc Robot Zero,a Robot who has All of the abilities of the Robot Masters. He laughs evilly as he signs out.
Roll gets ready for combat. Doc Robot Zero chuckles evilly and turns Yellow and White. He fires The Bond Shot from his buster, but at a much quicker pace. Roll is unable to dodge in time and the shot ends up gluing her feet to the floor. Roll can't believe that this happened to her again.
Doc Robot Zero laughs menacingly and Turns Green and White. He tosses a Hyper Bomb. Roll pulls her feet out of her boots freeing herself, just before the Bomb could damage her. Now Barefoot again,Roll fires her Buster, but it does little damage to the freakish robot, who's now turned Brown and White.
DRZ changes back to his Blue and Cyan hue,he fires a whole bunch of Plasma Shots at Roll barely dodges and fires back, ignoring the cold floor underneath her bare soles. Her plasma blasts do more damage this time. DRZ changes his color to Grey and White and fires a couple of Boomeranging Rolling Cutters. Roll dodges and rapid fires on him using Her Buster, damaging the Robot.
DRZ changes to Red and Yellow and fires off some quick Fire Storms. Roll dodges. He then changes to Grey and Yellow and fires off Thunder Beams. Roll dodges and fires the Rolling Cutter. Doc Robot turns Blue and White and freezes the cutter.
Roll wonders if Doc Robot inherited the Robot Master's weaknesses in addition to their strengths? Her theory is about to be tested as the Skeleton Robot starts changing color again, this Time Purple and White and fires Time Man's Plasma Arrow. Roll dodges and quickly fires Her Thunder Beam. Direct Hit! The Beam not only damages Doc Robot Zero greatly, but it also destroys the Robots Armor.
DRZ changes to Brown and White and starts pounding the Ground, causing an aftershock. Roll is knocked off of her feet, but quickly equips the Time Slow and uses it on Her foe. DRZ's movements have been reduced to a snails pace.
Roll tosses some Hyper Bombs at the slow moving Robot before he changes color again. The Bombs explode, reducing Doc Robot Zero to scrap. Roll takes a moment to catch her breath. She then powers up the Fire Storm and destroys the Bond Shot's adhesive covering her boots.
When her boots are free, they are scratched and scuffed, but still intact. Roll puts her boots back on and exits through the door. The door leads her to a large area with a ladder leading up. As Roll begins to climb, she is attacked by Watchers. She destroys them before they could do and real damage.
Upon reaching the top,she comes to a long corridor with golden statues of the Robot Masters. Roll finds this weird and presses on. She finds a lift over a bed of spikes. Roll rides the lift to the other side, where she finds a Teleporter.
Roll's got a feeling that She'll be meeting Dr. Wily face-to-face soon. And she was right, the teleporter brings her to the Roof of the Lab,where Dr. Wily awaits Her in His flying Super Vehicle, called the Wily Machine. Dr. Wily tells Roll that her luck is has just run out and now she's gonna pay for her insolence.
Roll gives Wily a chance to surrender and if he comes with her quietly, the feds may go easy on him. Dr. Wily laughs at Roll's attempts and tells her that he will NEVER admit that He was wrong and tells Roll to prepare for the Junk Yard.
Dr. Wily powers up his vehicle and fires off Fire Blasts from it's Cannon,Roll Dodges and fires the Rolling Cutter, the Cutters deflect off of the Machine. Wily laughs at Roll's attempt to defeat him and fires another round of blasts. Roll fires the Thunder Beam a few times at the Cannon, destroying it.
Wily can't believe this. With the cannon gone,Roll equips the Fire Storm and uses a barrage to do massive damage Wily Machine. Wily curses Roll and escapes the machine before it crashes down and explodes. Dr. Wily lands at Roll's feet as his Wily Machine becomes a firey wreck behind him.
Dr. Wily begs Roll to spare him. Roll uses the Bond Shot to glue Wily's hands to the floor. Roll activates the communicator on Her Buster and contacts the appropriate Authorities and tells them about what just happened. After the call,Roll tells Dr. Wily that his reign of terror is over and that he's gonna spend a few decades in jail for his crimes. Dr. Wily sulks.
Hours Later, after Dr. Wily was taken into custody and his Lab destroyed,Roll, out of her armor,is enjoying a relaxing barefoot walk in her backyard,as well as the evening air, after a very tough battle.
Rock joins her and they begin to talk about recent events and that He,as well as Dr. Light, are very proud of her. He also tells her that once the Robot Masters are back up and running, they'll be re-introduced to society.
He also adds that Dr. Light has created a protocol disruption blocker and has installed one in each of the Robot Masers,so that they can never be reprogrammed again. Roll is glad. Roll tells Rock that she really likes going barefoot and tells him that she'll be living shoeless from now on. Rock tells Roll that she's earned that lifestyle. Roll thanks her brother.
The 2 siblings look up at the evening sky, with hopes of Everlasting Peace.
The End!
Alright, like the story, though it seems like Roll doesn't really go barefoot that often throughout the story😶. I mean, sure, I can understand the beginning scene with her initially only wanting to be shoed, but maybe you could've introduced the half-barefoot part in the first stage and the completely bare part in the second stage😶. Plus, after she said she was gonna test being barefoot, she didn't even do that at all😶! She just wore the shoes and didn't even take them off unless the shoes were destroyed or got stuck in something😶! I feel what could've worked is if she tested being barefoot halfway through the third stage and with each progressing stage, the point where she'd take off her shoes would get closer to the start of the stage to the point where in the second-to-last stage, she starts off the level taking off her shoes, and in the last stage before Dr. Wily, she just leaves her shoes by the teleporter when Dr. Light and Rock weren't looking🙂. That way, when she goes up to light barefoot before she faces Dr. Wily, THEN it makes more sense for her to say that🙂. Even so, I find it weird that even though the story SAID that Roll was gonna be barefoot, she still wears shoes to Dr. Wily's base, like the gameplay was made by someone who didn't look at the cutscenes before actually making it😶. And sure, Roll DOES go barefoot in the end, but it doesn't really feel "earned" in a sense, and I didn't even think it was POSSIBLE to earn a lifestyle😶. Overall, great concept and such, but not very good execution on the barefoot aspect of it all😶
