Episode 6 - Tournament Training
At Gohan's place,Gohan and Gine are seeing Kakarot off on his journey to train with Master Roshi. carrying a duffel bag with extra clothes and even some lunch Gine prepared for him. Gine tells Kakarot to be safe on his way and not to hurt Master Roshi too bad during training. Kakarot tells her that he won't and to not worry. He then asks Gine if she would like to come and train along side him?
Gine tells Kakarot that she want's to train on her own for now,plus she needs to help Gohan with his business. After a bit more talk,Kakarot heads off to Master Roshi's on the Flying Nimbus. Gine leaves to prepare lunch. As Gine is preparing a meaty lunch,Gohan talks to her about the upcoming 21st Tenkai'ichi Budoukai Tournament and asks if she'd be entering?
Gine says that she definitely will,though she's only entering for the sport of it,and that the cash prize means nothing to her,so she's likely gonna donate it all to the business. She hope there will be enough strong guys to fight,because she doesn't NOT wan to fight any weak challengers,because if she fight's those kinds of fighters,she might end up killing them. And that she refuses to hold back on a Global Stage.
Gohan tells her that that's great to hear and that Kakarot will likely be entering as well,once Master Roshi tells him about it. Gine is glad and hopes her Son's training with the Old Turtle Master goes well and he becomes more powerful and more skilled.
As Gine and Gohan eat lunch,Kakarot arrives at Kame House,Master Roshi's place. There,he meets Krillin,a 13-year-old monk from the Orin Temple,who also seeks Master Roshi's training. Roshi decides to train them both,If and Only If,they find him a pretty young gal to serve as his house keeper.
Kakarot and Krillin head off on their quest,where they find and meet Launch,a pretty lady with a split personality. Whenever Launch sneezes she goes from sweet and innocent girl to a temperamental,violent,and aggressive badass.
The duo bring Launch back to Roshi. Roshi,pleased with Launch,decides to train both Kakarot and Krillin. Meanwhile,Gine is training using makeshift weights. Gohan,meanwhile,is tending to his garden. Gohan tells Gine that he knows a great way she can get stronger. Gine is interested and stops weight training.
Gohan takes Gine to an underground bunker behind his house. The bunker contains many tools,books,and other things. Gohan tells Gine that this bunker serves as his storage area,where he puts things he doesn't need. After some rummaging,he finds some stuff to give to Gine. They are a Weighted Backpack (50lbs),and Weighted Wrist and Ankle Bands (both 20lbs each).
Gohan explains that he used these Weighted Items in his youth,but as time went on,he mastered using them and that they became redundant,so he put them in storage. Gine tells Gohan that the Saiyans also used weighted clothing,though she had troubles with it.
Gohan tells Gine to give it another shot. Outside,Gine (who's still barefooted,BTW) puts on the Weighted clothing and restarts her training. Back on Roshi's Island,Kakarot and Krillin are training under Roshi,who has them wear Weighted Turtle Shells (2-tons each). As part of the training the duo must find a marked rock,deliver milk,help farm,and swim 15 laps across a pond,all while wearing those heavy shells.
During training,Kakarot and Krillin become equals and soon buddies. The Weight Training does wonders for Gine,Kakarot and Krillin. After a few months,everyone is much stronger and are ready for the Tournament.
The day of the Tournament Arrives on Papaya Island. Kakarot reunites with both Yamcha and Gine,who he introduces Krillin too. Krillin thinks Gine is cute and asks Kakarot why she's barefoot? Kakarot tells him that it's her preferred style of fighting and living.
Bulma,Puar,Oolong,Launch,and Gohan are there too,but as spectators. Master Roshi enters himself as Jackie Chun,for reasons that will be explained later.
Yamcha,Gine,Jackie Chun,Kakarot,and Krillin all make it past the preliminaries with little to no trouble. The Other 3 winners are - Nam,the head of a poor South-Eastern village,who has entered the tournament to get money for water; Giran,an Anthropomorphic Dinosaur who just loves to beat people up; and The Masked Sumorai,a masked Sumo Wrestler,with a Samurai motif (this is an early-bird appearance by yajirobe).

Episode 7 - Round 1 Begin.
The 1st match pits Krillin against The Masked Sumorai. Krilin easily defeats him by using the masked man's own slowness against him and eventually knocks him out of the ring. In the next match,Jackie Chun easily beats Yamcha. Yamcha thinks that,based on Chun's moveset,that Chun himself is Master Roshi. Jackie Chun denies this.
For the 3rd match,Gine defeats Nam. Nam is saddened that he now has to go back to his people empty handed,after explaining his situation to Gine,she leads him to a Well,where he can get all the water he wants. She even gives him a Capsule Tank (a dynocap that can turn into a tank for holding various liquids)to put it all in. Nam thanks Gine for her kindness,but Gine says that she's just happy to help.
In the 4th Match,Kakarot defeats Giran via surrender,when the Saiyan boy breaks out of his 'Merry-Go-Round Gum' trap.
Jackie Chun hits on Gine and even offers to rub her feet and legs after her fights. Gine has none of it and pushes Chun far away from her,causing him to hit the wall. She then confronts him and tells him that she knows that he's Master Roshi and asks about the disguise?
Jackie Chun tells her his intentions to teach them some humility and to get them to continue training after beating them,to show them that there are still stronger warriors out there to surpass and new techniques to be learned.and Gine thinks it's noble.
The announcer announces that next Round of the Tournament will begin soon.

Episode 8 - Number 1 Under The Heavens!
The next match pits Krillin against Jackie Chun,who puts on a show while fighting. Krillin puts up a great fight,but is unable to match Jackie Chun's skills and is knocked out.
When Krillin comes to,Chun congratulates him on a well fought match. The next match in the semi-finals pits Mother against Son,as Kakarot battles Gine.
Gine tells her son that she won't be holding back and she expects him to do the same. Kakarot agrees.
The 2 square off in an epic battle,each using their Special Attacks and even having a Kamehameha Beam-o-War. Gohan is proud of both Gine and Kakarot for progressing so far. The 2 Saiyans continue giving an impressive show,but eventually,Kakarot manages to knock Gine out of the ring.
Gine congratulates her son and tells him that she's so proud of him. The Announcer tells everyone that after a small break,they'll conclude with the Final Match - Jackie Chun v. Kakarot.
After an intermission the Final Match starts. Jackie Chun tells Kakarot to not hold back just because he's an elder. After bowing to each other,the fight begins. he two exchange attacks, and the match leans heavily towards Kakarot's favor.
During the fight, Kakarot starts getting hungry and is weakened by his hunger. Jackie Chun takes this oppertunity to turn the tables and assaults him with a combination attack. Kakarot tries to fight the hunger and continues the fight. Both Kakarot and Jackie Chun use the Kamehameha.
The 2 exchange attacks for a few minutes and despite Kakarot's hunger,he's still hanging in there. Soon, both fighters are tired,so they decide to only perform basic moves. Jackie Chun eventually wins the Tournament when the two exchange kicks and his kick struck deeper than Kakarot's.
Kakarot is really hungry. Jackie Chun tells Kakarot that he did really well and hopes to fight him again. Kakarot wants to fight Jackie Chun again and promises that next time,he'll not only be stronger,but will have a full belly too.
Chun tells Kakarot that he saw Master Roshia while ago trying to pick up women outside the arena and that he should be joining him soon. After saying their good-byes,Jackie Chun leaves. Chun enters the bathroom and removes his disguise and becomes Master Roshi again.
Roshi meets up with Kakarot and Co. Bulma sks where Roshi was this whole time? Roshi makes up a story telling everyone that he decided to go skirt chasing instead of watching the Tournament and comments that Papaya Island women are "Very Nice".
Bulma calls Roshi a pervert. Because they did so well in the Tournament.,Roshi offers to buy Kakarot,Krillin,Yamcha,and Gine dinner. Kakarot is excited.
After dinner,the group goes their separate ways again. Yamcha,Bulma,Puar,and Oolong return to West City. Master Roshi decides to go back to Kame House to continue living life. Krillin decides to continue training with Roshi,since he has nothing better to do. Gine and Gohan decide to go home. Whale,Kakarot decides to search for the Dragon Ball that his grandfather gave him,as well as more strong guys to fight. Before setting off,Bulma gives him the Dragon Radar and wishes him luck.
